Evan terrorizing the island in the loader. Evan and Rebecca visited for the week, and Evan’s favorite part of the island was the loader and the golf cart. We also built a horseshoe kit using rebar and the rebar bender and a dinner bell.

June 15

Tired of the small, portable, smelly port-a-potty, Zack built this larger, improved version. The concrete base was part of the original septic tank that we are removing. Needless to say, he was rather proud of his construction. Wonder how long it will last?  

June 21

Sonya and her workers came out and smoothed the upper meadow, getting it ready for grass. Hydro seed is a very fast way to get lawn. It’s basically fertilizer, water, green dye, and a bit of grass seed. You spray it on, water it every day, and hopefully it will be green for the wedding in a month.
